Mechanical and Thermal Properties

We can simulate mechanical behaviour of macroscopic constructions and devices, including calculation of internal stresses and deformations in such systems emerging due to

- externally applied forces and/or stresses and
- temperature changes in constructions made of materials with different thermal expansion coefficients

Our simulation competencies include composite materials like laminates etc. For this purpose we employ various commercial 'multiphysics' packages, e.g. ANSYS and COMSOL.

We also conduct simulations of the heat flow and of both equilibrium and time-dependent temperature distribution in various complex systems under the influence of external (e.g. irradiation) and internal (e.g. chemical reactions) heat sources
